We expected some carpet damage and that a repaint would be needed but in reality the wood floors are destroyed, windows need replacing, all carpets need to be replaced, cabinets require replacing or refinishing, and the grounds need landscaping.Originally our plan was to fix this home and sell it.

The reality is we can't help everyone stay in their home; there are many different reasons why some homeowners can't stay including they are too past due, they have no job or their income is not enough, they are self employed and don't have stable long term income, the property value is too high, they have too much equity,  and the list goes on and on.

I think the reality is that here in the US the easy money was already made by the people that were buying real estate at the bottom of the cycle in 2010 to 2012.
