Moral of the story - keep educating yourself, learning the language, understand your strategy, criteria and goals. 

@Matthew Malley - am in the same predicament with 2 STRs in the poconos - my 2 cents : purchasing a property above 350k imo will at a some point return very less cashflow .

We would do a TIC with you but you would need to bring in more than 1-2Mfor it to make it worth the administrative burden.Again when we sell the asset in 5-10 years anyway you will be in the same but worse predicament.

Feeling morally superior to most of them doesn't take much effort or expense.

Moral of the story: It is more important to take the leap and buy the house hack with -$50/month cashflow then it is to spend months looking for the perfect deal.

Thanks to COVID, USDA loans are extremely backed up... we were under contract for 90 + days before finally closing in January 2021.⁣⁣Moral of the story? ⁣
