These properties are older and generally on the low $ end so there is not much room based on ARVs to replace entire system but wondering if leaving it in would scare away buyers.

They seem to be quite negative with not much intended value add.The questions that I asked were thoughtful and were more about the composition of service offerings from folks who offer those services to property owners than just about the percentage charged for management.The title of the thread is co-hosting and management of STR’s.I would have expected to get more feedback about the questions that I asked from people that property manage or co-host.There are many people who have experienced down years due to poor management (listings, channels, revenue management) which means there is plenty of room for improvement and an opportunity to earn more for these clients even with the management fee ranges mentioned.

This was on the last lower priced one I'd gone after, which at the time seemed like I got a deal, even though I had to outbid at first maybe 5 bidders and finally one who ran it up a good 20 grand or so.

The people in the room are the people you do business with they have the deals, the money, the services, the knowledge, the legal help and everything else you need to do a deal.You could try to make those connections here on BP, but nothing beats going to a meeting and talking live and face to face - you might event get to meet Andrew, he speaks from time to time - or all those vendors - we had 40 of them in a room last month just for everyone to come ask them questions.So find your local group - where ever it is - find or join several.
