Counting adhesive thickness the transition piece is higher than both sides, bad practice.

I do not believe that the seams would come undone with that product either as the adhesion is very strong once bonded.

I purchased some residue spray for the one unit when it was unoccuppied but I don't go around spraying chemicals with tenants in place.
