I've seen some where the screen does not open while others have the classic squeeze-to-open.I ask because if they do not need to open I can build them myself but otherwise we have weird dimensions and will have to pay $$$ for custom...Thanks in advance!

The key is not every custodian is right for you, some have higher fees but better customer service and some are good at real estate and notes and others not so much.
