Restoring them to the architectual intent makes good sense.Financially speaking it goes against a basic principle in real estate - the pieces are worth more sold individually than the entire sum - in other words: buy by the acre, sell by the foot.

Plumbing company went back to fix it, they didn't connect dishwasher properly, but at the time of 2nd visit, tenant reported possible mold, had Servpro (Fire/damage restoration company) go out to detect mold and water damage.

For bugs and pests, they can infest every property and if your structure is diminished and cost of restoration is blasting the rehab budget, then that's a no brainer.

Hi all, I ended up making an offer on a 1575 sq ft 3 BR/2 bath fixer upper in West Kensington that seems to have good bones but needs TLC (paint, floors - hopefully can restore original hardwood, kitchen, update baths, central AC).
