You can learn a lot from fellow investors in your market, but make sure you listen to those that are actually investing in real estate not just talking about investing in real estate.

After listening to your book on audible (3 times) and starting your podcast (all they way from episode 1) has helped me realize, that the fear of falling should not stop you from aiming for the moon. 

At the same time, i dont have any experience other than dozens of hours reading and listening to podcats and videos on syndication and real estate investing in general and this lack of experience unmotivates me because realistically I wont be able to raise the money , get the financing, and get the team, and this at the end leads me back to “building my own portfolio”.So I’m stuck.

Listen, I'm not looking for your opinion on drug addicts, either your opinion on what you THINK the neighbors will think or feel about  a Sober Living house being in their neighborhood.  

It's not a waste of time for another investor to talk about what they did, they love that, you just have to be an active listener and not someone trying to ask about money.

Unfortunately, there are numerous other frustrated customers who are dealing with similar, if not worse, situations, myself included.

I've enjoyed listening to Bigger Pockets for a long time and just purchased my first home.
