The deal must be reviewed by the city to be allowed to move forward- highly overvalued market by all metrics, price to income etc - low appreciation and returns compared to emerging EU member states and US(most RE companies offer ridiculous returns around 10% (minus high taxes) for high risk speculative investments)- extreme anti landlord legislation Basically, given the number of alternatives available at the moment, i don't see any valid reason to invest in France unless you are french and unable to invest elsewhere.

BP tends to be a little anti appreciation and its definitely a bigger gamble but its where a lot of people made a lot of money esp. when they bought to live because they bought in better areas that went up. 5) In this case if you are buying a larger multi unit the big gains come from making improvements to the rent, the cost structure, etc.

Critiques are encouraged as this is a combination of research and personal opinions.I'm based in Chicago, own 2 properties(6 total units), really discouraged to invest in Chi because of anti landlord policies, rising crime and taxes etc.
