Hi there, first post and new to investing and wanted to see if there are any groups here local to my area to start gaining a good network in the industry. 

I know that cruise travel is dominating the travel industry right now along with international travel as mentioned by Ryan.

(I used to be a financial advisor years ago and worked for several companies, so I know this industry from inside.)$500/month is a meaningless number without knowing what exactly is being offered and the quality of these services.

I will say, that assuming their experience on their website/linkedin is in the same type of industry, they have been around longer than most any other syndicator you will find on these forums.  

I have sellers of a t6-8 zoned property that would take 1 million right now I'm sure in Wynwood Norte. we can go 12 stories through max incentives and put 60 dwelling units on it. we entitle the land it becomes worth 3 million, then you have construction numbers, sale prices, etc. miami is crazy. the best way to make money from a professional in this industry for 13 years who lives in miami and looks at deals in columbus and miami is development and getting involved in early development opportunities of raw land in urban settings where there is very little risk and pushing high density.

Working at a PMC would allow you to be paid hourly or salary while learning about the industry.

Turno is awesome, really, one of the best apps I know on the STR industry, but it's not a PMS. 

I think wholesaling would be a great way for me to start working in the industry and accumulate capital so that we have more to invest when we are ready.

You basically become a fractional owner in a large piece of property, such as an apartment complex or retail or industrial property.

I'm aware of the vacancy rate being 6% in the SFR industry but I was wondering what percentage of units go on the market every year from your portfolio.
