They can't afford it.Make sure you spell out building rules, where people can smoke cigarettes, drink beer, when are quiet hours, how many people can they have on property before they notify you, how long can a visitor stay before they request permission(I do three nights).

The people who follow your city will get notifications and if interested, will show up.Our Austin members are using this very successfully and have a great regular meetup that they do.Someone just needs to take the bull by the horns to make it happen.We had over 1,200 visits last month from Pittsburgh . . . there's certainly plenty of people in the area to connect with that are on our site or visitors of it.Good luck.

I would agree with Josh on this one that the site already has more than enough categories and shoud not be broken down any further.also, it seems like posting is decreasing lately so further segmenting will reduce the number of new recent posts in each category even further.just my $0.02I think if you were to actually look at the number of posts and visitors to the site now compared to a month agot, 6 months, a year, etc. you will see that there is more activity as of late, not less.
