For the last year wages have been growing faster than inflation, but by purposely selecting the right time period including 2021 and 2022 you can make it look like the wages are going down, while the trend has been going the other direction for over a year. 

Thinking of Freeport, niceville, crestview, etc.I like Freeport overall and naturally I’m looking at rentals rates vs the cost of townhomes and single family homes.

And they're much harder to hire vs. subs (my husband is very good at building his sub network - it comes very naturally to him). 

http://mnsoberhomes.org/   This is an organization of over 20 sober houses in Minnesota run by private people. they formed a organization to help each other.this is a interesting part of a growing need for assisted type of housing.Just thought I'd pass the info along..your state might have a similar organization that could give assistance in figuring out how to start a similar type of housing situation.  

Remember, grow slow and sturdy, then explode with growth.

But the way I see it is that, in general, someone who is new to the business and is looking to break in and grow will have barriers that can likely drive them out of REI.If it were up to me, I would just let the market dictate the rents and it will find equilibrium on its own.

What I mean is that I want to achieve all my financial goals in the decades I'll grow up and to be happy every step of the way.
