my initial idea is to check your lease. hopefully it says something along the lines of "tenant agrees to hold harmless landlord for all damaged posessions." in my honest opinion, you never certified that any particular outlet was rated for any particular dryer, and it is tenants responsibility to ensure they are using an appropriate outlet for their appliance.that being said, thats my opinion, i have no idea how a judge may rule. i suggest seeking legal advice. none of the above constitutes legal advice
