You cannot deny the family because of the lead paint either, that's considered discrimination (you're refusing them because they have a kid) and is against the anti-discrimination laws of the state.

Anti-landlord stances make it really difficult to invest in the state for the average landlord, who might not own 1,000 units and can't afford to spend a year trying to get someone out of their property.
