It's located on our choose & cut Christmas tree farm, and we're looking into the possibility of hosting events there, too.  

Flash forward to Dec 2015, lots of rain again for midwest, renter gone at christmas, 2-3" of rain in basement again, bought pump, cleaned, back on with life, some wood swelling of trim boards.

It is also not uncommon to rent a home for $150 a night during the season then jump $100+ for the thanksgiving and Christmas week.

We've just finished our first full month of renting our Tiny House on the Christmas Tree Farm through AirBnB.  

For the amount of money I spent on this marketing, (ZERO) I would say it has paid off nicely.Not a bad way to get started .... it may not pay off consistently, but when it does pay off, it's like a Christmas gift

Gonna buy it around Christmas time as 400$ is a lot to a college student! 

If there are successful duplex/multi-unit investors in Chicago (or MontCo / Philadelphia around Thanksgiving/Christmas), I'd be willing to share some of my time and expertise in exchange for some exposure to your efforts.

They won't be having a meetup in December since they'll be hosting their annual Christmas party but be sure to atternd their meeting in January :D
