@Paul SandhuI’m not sure if this is what your Chinese engineers are doing, but when my Taiwanese parents (small, Mandarin Chinese-speaking island off the coast of China) come to visit, they unplug the Roku in the guest room and hook up something called a Moon Box so they can get their Chinese language programming for free.

Buy, rent out for 5 years, save while I’m renting, sell at a higher price and with the equity in the house plus the savings I could have a lot more to spend on the island.

We are eyeing a guest house on the beach in Sri Lanka, an island I've been to 5 times now, and which is booming.

Only thing is I live on Long Island so local real estate is pretty much out of the picture.

I'm fairly new to BP and was just wondering if there was any meetups going on in my area. My goal is to learn as much as I can before I do my first deal. 

The second building is in terrible shape, uninhabited and if necessary might be spun off and sold for redevelopment.  

@Wesley W.A big issue and delay at least here on the island is the sheriff's office is backed up.

The problem is, the house is uninhabitable the way it sits.
