That is one of the few ways for folks with limited resources to get started. 

Most out-of-state investors will have an enormously difficult time navigating that process from afar, especially in a market like Detroit.We help folks with it but our projects generally require investors to be cash buyers.

But I know the city well and spent 5 years on the ground in the Detroit area.Newer folks need to do a ton of research and/or work with someone that has a ton of experience and is going to be honest with you.Detroit can be extremely block by block.

Younger folks in the process of building their portfolio are likely to accept a higher level of risk than older folks with more established estates.
