Here's some things that you  might want to do starting out: 1) Read Books (tons of recommended book lists on the forums, do a search), listen to the BP Rookie podcasts, watch BP's free webinars - choose topics you are interested in to help narrow down the sheer amount of information. 

@Jamal King certainly agree with narrowing the focus to one asset class or investment strategy.

I've been spending sometime now educating myself and looking at a few markets, and I'm narrowing down to either Indianapolis-IN or Columbus-OH.

I have narrowed down my plan to focus on multi family properties with a large amount of my interest set on using the BRRRR model.

I don’t want to run around the entire state to look at house and would like to narrow down to just a few zip codes…  I prefer to start in Maryland because I live here… I am seeing tons of stuff in Baltimore city for sale and that actually makes me worry a little.. can they not rent or do some people only want to flip houses?  

This would be fairly quick to get responses and could pretty much narrow down to a few in a week and have one within the week of posting.

I started to explore different markets and read some trends in each to narrow down the market that I want to make this deal in.
