I’m actually just booked my flight up to Milwaukee on the 16th for this sole purpose.

There are Some macro economic reasons why so much money is chasing real estate and thus driving prices up- financing rates are historically cheap and so that lowers cap rates - flight of capital from stock market as folks look for less volatility and more relative ‘safety’- the FED is printing money at an unprecedented rate and it has the effect of inflating asset prices

I was about 4 flights from my PPL, before my son was born... 6 yrs ago. 

But acquiring financing and actually dealing with *gasp* other people is really triggering my fight or flight response!

I have Navy flight students in my Pensacola rental property, and they are fantastic tenants.

I always encourage investors (especially new ones) to book a flight and get to know the people and area. 

If you purchase your flights well enough in advance you could probably get round trip tickets for $200-400. 

Asset prices collapsed (except US Treasuries, which were seen as a flight to quality).

Got my flights booked - but the tickets are sold out :( Anyone not going or have a spare ticket I can purchase?

And flights abroad can be found for round trips of $250 if you know what you're doing.
