When he pushes for a reason I can't/won't do it (this guy knows I have pulled and rebuilt engines in multiple vehicles), I tell him:If I do this job, it's going to take 6 months, as I have a lot of things going on;There's no warranty at Joe's garage - if I bust something, or something else goes wrong, you're on your own;We have to live next door to each other, and this is only going to either make you mad (too long, too expensive) or me mad (too long, poor expectations).My intuition was right.

@Ashley Yoviene what you say, intuitively makes sense to me. though I'd rather invest in Nashville, because of appreciation and growth, it's going to take WAY more money esp in today's market. and not everyone is trying to buy in Toledo like they are in Nashville right now so it's a lot less less intimidating for a newbie like me!
