Fortune Builders is not his company, they set up this marketing/scam program and use all of the T.

He is a scam artist.  

So I went into investigation mood... turned out to be a scam.

There are TONS of scams in this industry.

@Jackie Flowers, I've never come across any of those "finder fee" programs that didn't have an up front cost* to you (usually at least $1,000) in order to qualify for their finders fee.To that extent, yes, they're a "scam" - because they don't promise to buy the deals you find - and you only get paid IF they buy!

Watch out for scams on your ad, scammers will tell people directly to go check windows and try and get in.  

Again, they are first time home buyers, not looking to scam anyone and will occupy the house eventually but I do know they have to sign something saying they will live in it for a year, which will more than likely not be the case.They want my advice and I came across this string hoping to get advice from others in the industry since I haven’t personally dealt with this before. 

Potentially this site itself is in on the scam, because the reporting function there doesn't work.   

Please note 90% of people who say they are private lenders are really scam artists - especially on Facebook.

It's all scams.
