Credit Karma is great for monitoring your credit and making sure there aren't any new, fraudulent accounts being opened, but their scores that they give you are almost never accurate.

The only conclusion I can come to is that the original lien holder purchased the property at the bubble around 2007 or that this was a fraudulent mortgage from the very beginning.
