Did they give you the unit keys or leave them behind in the unit, such as on the kitchen counter or on the fireplace mantle? 

Sits on nice size lot with 2 car garage & has fireplace.

There is not a single aspect that's not trashed with intentional damages like big holes in walls, intentionally ripping out carpets, trashing new appliances, kids drawing in all rooms, broken doors, window shades, screen doors, lost garage and fireplace remotes etc.

However, many of these older buildings were originally designed to be heated by coal stoves/fireplaces in each room, or {later} fitted with coal-fired steam boilers.  

I prefer not having a fireplace in my rentals myself.  

The fireplace used to have a wood stove, we removed due to constant maintenance requirements, didn't realized it has no dampers.

Johell Aponte totally misrepresented a rental home to me and without compunction took $14,000 plus of my life savings and I got a home that is easily condemnable between the fireplace being cracked the breaker box being in shambles with breakers falling out into the electrician's hand.

I plan to replace it all with a spiral staircase but will keep it around for demo and construction for ease of access.The fireplace will be removed.

Pretty sure that recorded deed was put in someones fire place that worked at the clerks office
