The job for now consist of managing the details of prepare the house for demo: Arranging the clean out, having the utilities disconnected, obtaining parking permits, etc.

@Alan Reza - going back to our earlier discussion about cash flow, I just found out the 'disconnect' between my economic numbers and why those places are not discussed here.We all need to keep in mind that growing economy, population and income is not the only factor when analyzing cities - how they go hand in hand with each other, is what matters.Take for instance Midland, TX.It is #1 on the 'Employment % Change' from March '17 - Aug '18 as per the latest BLS #s.It is also right up there in '% Population Change' during the same period as per the Census #s.But here is the kicker - the Population growth (22%) far outpaces the Employment growth (12.2%) - nearly double!  

@Matthew Reid Ask the utility company to put a 10 day notice of disconnection.

Disconnection of utilities for non-payment is a material violation of this agreement.

No it's a public sewer, the sanitary district provided me a sketch of where the disconnect is and it appears to be 12ft off the street in the front yard of the property.

One has a disconnected number, one is not even based out often state but advertises for my area and the third was a firm that practiced many different areas including real estate.

The old wire needs to be disconnected and just take that part out that is exposed, you can leave the old wiring inside the walls, that is not an issue.

I never understood why there was such a disconnection with the people I see at ACRE and the people on BP.

Here is the disconnect that OH Realtor might take issue to and many home sellers faced with this request---deferring payment for 12 months kills the cash flow if the home seller has an existing lien on the property he is trying to sell (not only will he/she not receive PITI payment, but they will have to go into pocket to pay the same for a year).This strategy has some legs if the property being sold is mortgage free, but a word of caution to home sellers thinking of adopting this approach---build enough in your asking price to compensate for the lost opportunity the cashflow you are deferring would have created.

Somehow this doesn't look like it is still in working order but I'd hate to disconnect it and find out the hard way (with backed-up sewage).....
