Our roof had multiple flat tab shingles, on top of the original cedar shake shingles which you could imagine at this point were pretty old and rotted.

which is not avalible in many areas because the title plants or records are not computerized and at the closing attornies finger trips like they are at a west coast title and escrow company.they hand deliver documents to me.. they send couriers to me for docs I never pay for.. and in the development services part of it .. its off the charts they run all our plats do all sorts of back end research on properties all for no cost to us.. just one one development I would say if I had to hire this work out it would easily be 20 to 30k that they save me.. but why do they do it.. to get 50 to 70 orders a year from us.. and this then leads to referrals for them and it mushrooms.

If it is shingle, how many layers are on it? 

The roof also needs a few shingle that have to be replaced and we need 2 new  Garage doors.

To balance the budget, we washed the roof shingles instead of replacing as it was structurally sound. 

lets use an asphalt shingle roof as an example that we will use 15 year life (in Texas I would think this is fairly accurate). 

I show up a little before 8:30 and the crew of hispanic workers are already there; have the tarps up and half the shingles off the roof. 

We replaced our side of the shared-townhome roof with 20-year shingles, and we installed a new 6 foot cedar privacy fence.

Thank you in advance  Hi Kelcee,I like green pressboard classification folders.You can get them with different amounts of tabs.Then label the tabs however it works best for you, and however you keep records.Such as if the property is in a high wind area with frequent shingle damage, you could have a tab just for roof repair receipts, or if not just have a tab for all repairs.The tab names you choose should be chosen to make your life easier vs. just throwing everything into a shoebox, and having to sort through everything later to find what you need.Good Luck!
