We buy LVP from a flooring supplier and not from a big box - better quality/value, typically aboyt $2.50-ish.

Negotiate Extended Warranty Agreements:When you're buying appliances, try to work out extended warranty deals with the suppliers or manufacturers.

In addition to focusing on making your home more energy efficient you might look at your natural gas supplier.

I was fairly certain that he had vacated, but the e mailed notice that he had taken the electricity out of his name was further proof that he had vacated- he had left enough stuff behind that it would have been questionable otherwise.I am fairly certain our water supplier has something similar, but haven't used it since we have 2-4 unit buildings and just one water meter at each building, so water is included in rent for us.

Also I would recommend buying materials wholesale - Cabinets are the biggest expense I save money by having an account with a wholesale supplier. 

My brokers, vendors, suppliers etc. are telling me to expect more.As far as unemployment, it seems people just pay attention to the U3 rate & not U6.
