Debating the stock market vs real estate is a what if game.     

The most prevalent housing stock is 50+ years old and there are lots of fused circuits that need upgrades. 

I think Goldman Sachs Investment claimed the summer is almost over, tight inventory and higher interest rates by downgrade both RDFIN and Z.With that being said, Zillow stocks maintained at $64, market cap is 11.9 billion dollars.

You can get better return comparing with the stock market (10-15% is reasonable expectation) and with lower risk.

As an overall complaint of NH / Boston (I'm also an agent in Boston) right now, the housing stock is just tired, old, and in need of a lot of updating - which is difficult considering pricing and cost of labor, supplies, etc.

In this here age of the smartphone I would think it would be attractive, and almost expected, for investors to be able to track and check their investments at the click of a button just as everyone can with stocks, online banking, etc...

Someone needs to wash the sheets, towels, stock the shampoo, conditioner, soap.

Should I make extra payments on the mortgage, or invest it in the stock market.

None of it is worth anything without taking the initiative to build relationships and clientele, but I feel like I'm entering the field with a fully stocked tool belt.
