When I got there, I noticed not a single square foot of the paved driveway was 1 whole piece, the pool liner was stretched off the walls down to the deep end where a new ecosystem was forming. cracks in the grout of the brick (foundation issues, potentially), tarp on part of the roof (but the whole thing was garbage anyway), water damage throughout and a thriving community of mold.

Basically any high income employees that wanted the breathing room of the suburbs/mixed-use with vibrant commercial activity and didn't mind the 30-40 min commute into downtown SF would live in Walnut Creek or Pleasant HIll.

I will say while there are certainly agents that are just straight liars & know it, I’ve honestly become convinced most agents give what they think is good advice, there’s like a whole media ecosystem just for agents that exists at brokerage’s and on social media, and honestly if you don’t have critical thinking and/or want to fit in, it’s just easier & more profitable to just go with it.

I'm sure there are far more people who commute from the suburbs but there are also vibrant downtown neighborhoods... and those two groups rarely cross paths :)
