(2 years) we replaced some ceil tiles, lacquered the living room floor, painted all rooms but the bathroom, and put in click-flooring in the laundry/bonus room.

I don't really notice too much change in the Winter months, maybe a bit of slowing in the number that move out, but parsing through many years of data, I don't see any identifiable patterns of slowing rentals when it gets cold and blustery. 0Having said that, I have been seeing extremely strong rent up in the past 3 months.

I also think when you're house hacking you blur the lines a bit between "this is my home" and "this is my rental" and it can be easy to legitimize putting tile backsplash in when it's really not necessary.
