Good time to scout out areas.

I use neighborhood scout and drive by areas to understand which ones I would invest in... 01602 is one of the nicest areas or worcester @Kate B.I agree, staying consistent is the biggest key in looking at buying deals- you need to know the areas and what you look for in properties 

Also curious as the how this went, very interested in the new construction space, scouting out land at the moment!

What is worse is areas of Ohio, Indiana etc. will scout properties that are non owner occupied and owned by people out of state and go after them hard. 

As I get older i'm less interested in "the grind" - my body is starting to tell me it's time to work smarter rather than "harder".I am interested in getting a start in wholesaling, I have been scouting out information on the internet and doing a lot of reading over the past 3-4 months.

Am in market to purchase a cabin for STR investment and scouting the area in Zillow and surprised how inflated the prices are.I selected few houses and did a math with rental numbers and my monthly operating costs and am loosing minimum of 10% is this right time to buy cabin in Smoky's or wait?

So jac basically is what it is .. prices are what a landlord will pay for a given rent.. and that tends to be about 1 % to 1.5 % and of course locals who scout it out and do their own rehab do much better.

There are also quite a few people I know scouting that market.
