Occasionally I catch some cleanliness issued that I am not satisfied with which I believe is due to variability in attention to detail between people on their crew, or lack of training and familiarity with my property.I've seen mentions of the value of post cleaning pictures from hosts on other forums.

This is easy for some people that have lots of friends investing in passive real estate opportunities.

However, there's nothing to be ashamed of; this is a problem that most people encounter and easily overlook, and it can even lead to stumbling, as I got lost there for a while too.

Do you really blame them for paying people threatening them with late fees or repossession before you?

If people tell you to get a loan with 500 credit and no down payment and they can do it, I would run as they are most likely trying to scam you and request you pay $2500 or $5000 upfront and you will never see that money again.

There are also deals that can be find on jud.ct.gov for foreclosure auctions but those rarely work out because the people usually owe more than the property is worth or they get cancelled and postponed frequently. 

I sat in on a lot of the meetings with owners/city and it seems for the most part to me, the city is just not interesting in AirBnB and as an investor, that's not a good place to be or be right.There will always be probably a few people who skirt the law or think they have a good workaround, but often catch 22. 

And the condo debacle in FL will be churning for quite a while as these rogue HOAs try to get realistic with deferred maintenance, new requirements, and freedom for people to use as they need to afford them.One thing to consider would be to 1031 all of them in a consolidation exchange. 

They prey on people as well. 

People will confirm wanting to stay at your unit....you guessed it. :)  But all of those bring you closer to the lead that books *and pays you*.Best of luck.
