I live in a different city so I’d like something with remote capabilities, ideally with storage on the cloud so I don’t have to worry about a hard drive filling up.

I inherited a multifamily house from my father in Connecticut.He had an arrangement with a pool guy to use the annexed garage as storage for equipment, chemicals and materials.Originally it was just 2 vans that would stop by in the early morning (7am).

., laundry mat, self-storage, car wash) investment.

Criteria that I’m hoping for are:- preferably no cost to landlord for subscription - rent collection possible (and preferably at no added cost to tenant - some have a 2.5% fee even for direct deposit)- maintenance requests - document storage (lease, receipts etc) Any feedback welcome!

If it’s like a MN farm it will be a tiny percent if it’s only housing or a section (640 acres) but a much larger percent if it’s housing plus grain or machinery storage on a quarter (160 acres) usually 3-10 acres can be included with the buildings if it isn’t production land. 

I've rented a small storage facility and are keeping an extra refrigerator and range in there for those type of situations.

However, there could be other ways to increase income (if you haven't already) like using the RUBS Program, late fees, pet fees, storage fees (if you have extra room for storing larger items that might be hard for them to store in a 440 sq ft apartment), etc. 

You could also remove it and put it in storage.

So far, I have come up with the following ideas:- airbnb- bed and breakfast- car storage- boat storage - trailer/motor home storage- shared workspace/office space rental- general long-term storageDoes anyone have any other suggestions?
