Visitors from the North and across the globe take advantage of the warmer temperatures.  

I'm hoping that a cousin or other relative will drive by once in a while if I promise dinner and movie the next time I visit. (or

I ended up getting over 160 visitors last night - and ran out of candy just before the last group of 7 or 8 kids rang.

Then stop by next Saturday and visit or just make the call.

About a third of my visitors were like this.(5) Living in Hawaii, it's respectful to take ones footwear off before entering into the home.

My biggest problem right now are probably things you already thought about, but my ignorance has caused me many issues: have a visitors clause in your lease, and on the application be sure to ask about past criminal history.  

Unlike many destinations, Big Island gets visitors year round for longer than average stays given the distance they typically travel and the only real low season is September. 

A series of things happened: 1) the contractor who was going to do the work to fix some things up had an accident (and he was just going to do the work himself for a lower rate as a friend, so no back up) 2) I got pregnant and have been completely sick for the past couple months and couldn't do much and 3) the holidays have been very busy with visitors, so we have used the extra space to host. 

In order avoid damage to rentals how often do you check on your properties during the lease term?
