Doors left unlocked, squatters, appliances stolen, etc.I do believe for many people great PM can be a money maker and money saver. 

The tenant took the screen out and needs to use a credit card to unlock the front door, since the storm door frame is in the way of the front door keyhole.  

That way I would always have access to remotely lock and unlock. 

When things get iffy in the non-qm space, the first things lenders like to do is suspend locking to hedge their risk (I have even heard of lenders unlocking borrower's).

I decided to get into real estate after discovering how much potential there was to unlock in this industry.

It costs $200 to unlock and then lock it when the interest goes down.  

They should unlock only, and should not turn on (this is especially true for the water and gas).

@Andy welcome to BP you are going down the correct path my friend what I would suggest is that you go to at least 1 meetup a week and befriend an investor you can find the real deal makers in the back with grey hair start up a simple conversation and explain to them your goals and what you want to do help make them more successful and in turn you unlock the door to FREE Knowledge just keep at and be persistent man you will someone because older investors always like helping younger ones.

I can also manually lock/unlock the door and arm/disarm the security system remotely.I use Ubiquiti Access Points for my wireless directly connected to the cable modem.

But even with Bars on the Windows, thieves always would find  a way in, like in the old fashion Milk shutes.....They would slip a little kid in the milk shuts and they would unlock the doors, so we had to seal shute the milk shuts.
