In addition during this time we started reaching out to multifamily agents that had sold a lot of properties in the Silicon Valley and were getting their opinions on rents and resale value.

He moved to Greenville, SC from Silicon Valley and is investing there.

Maybe we cant be Silicon valley, but.....EV Valley?!?   

Even with the constant forehead banging with what's being legislated, however, somebody would have to convince me that Silicon Valley has lost its tech luster, or we've got an actual solution to the housing supply issue (hint... we're never going to) before I believe the market hit would be longterm. 

Few investments stand up to  Silicon Valley real estate. 

My former primary residence is now a rental and has appreciated wildly (Thank you silicon valley real estate prices). 

The ones i have seen work though are in Silicon Valley.where housing is so expensive..  4 young male computer programmers to a room.. they live at their work .. if they work for google they eat there for free so they dont even cook..
