Hearing peoples opinions on BP on where to invest is like asking someone their favorite football team. 

Active duty military and New here to BP while still considering myself new to REI. 

I see FF to be very mixed on bookings compared to actively getting them.

If nothing else, offering a small reward like a gift card to their favorite restaurant (ask when they initially sign the lease) helps.

This is one of my favorite strategies - allowing the tax authority to take it to foreclosure. 

Changing the tractor's oil in the driveway was another favorite: keeps the dust down in the summer.The developer risk is if that solid ever gets tested (phase one or phase two environmental study) you may have to dispose of it as toxic waste, which is super expensive.

As a note, I am active duty military, scheduled to deploy sometime next year, and I have plans to rent out the unit I am staying in once that time comes around.

I have been wondering this as well.So many insurance companies have substantially increased their rates or quit insuring in FL altogether.The increased Hurricane activity is just going to make this worse.My next STR was going to be a beach house, but I am rethinking that.
