A tenant and the property management company walked all over me and costed me thousands and thousands of dollars.

To top it all off after I sent in my information and statements I never got a terms sheet I was promised, just an invoice for 700 dollars payable to them from a link that they provided for the background check and appraisal.

I think its dumb to be hundreds of dollars under water for a drawn out, sustained periods.

The fact is I don't have million dollars in cash sitting in my bank account.

But there are other areas where your dollars can serve you better.

And they still owed me 200 dollars so I “reminded” them to pay again and I’ll be up there on Thursday to collect.

Recovery of less than 30 cents on the dollar was the expectation. 

We are not at the stage yet where you should spend tens of thousands of dollars on an attorney filing a lawsuit or requesting arbitration.

I mean really where can you buy a rehab home in a big metro on the east coast for those dollars..
