If you have a high or medium asset you will be fine as you will have ample selection of pms so taking a little time to vet shouldnt be too bad.

. - the only thing such LL's will catch is either a law suit, a disgruntled tenant or a startled tenant (which poses a safety concern to you) if catching lease violations is a concern (which it should be) error on the side of AMPLE notice and you'll accomplish the same thing simply because it puts the Tenant on 'guard' to 'clean up' their act leading up to your inspection - which is really the whole point anyway.

Kristi - get pre approved to see if your income as is plus your husbands and brothers will be ample to qualify for what you are needing ..the fact you have large assets will not matter too much ...also self employed borrowers will normally be qualified using the past 2 tax returns and have the self emp income averaged .....so the returns for 2019 are not crucial to have completed now .......DSCR loans are much higher in rate/ fee than normal home loan prices so best to try to get the normal loan before using this type of loan
