If you are sole owner of it all, the tax reporting isn’t any different, and it will still all be on your schedule E of your return anyways since all of the LLC would be disregarded entities in this instance.

@Zach LincolnGreat advice from @Ashish Acharya.Generally the easiest structure when first starting out is either to hold directly with great insurance (landlord and umbrella) or via an LLC that is taxed as a disregarded entity or partnership, also with great insurance.Definitely speak with your attorney and CPA before you implement anything.

If its SMLLC, transferring the property to LLC changes nothing for taxes as SMLLC are disregarded for tax purpose.
