In your opinion what do you think is the best property to start with?

Right now, I’m focused on finding my first multifamily property to house hack in the New London, CT or Greater Boston area.Goals with BiggerPocketsI joined to connect with experienced investors, learn more about financing and property management, and take action on my first deal this year.

Things like a new roof can range - here in Philadelphia where i do a lot of work, our flat rubber rowhome roofs are fairly inexpensive and standard . . .

1: If I was in charge of creating the app I would implement AI to get more information on properties and determine comps.2: I would completely redesign the GUI(Graphical User Interface) because even the website could be improved it looks like someone with little experience created it which was smart to do in the beginning but now you guys have more money it’s time to upgrade.

Even if you plan of holding the property - your tenants will appreciate especially if you get into a landlord/tenant dispute. 

I believe the property have appreciated in value just based off recent sales in my market area.

Almost everything can be done virtually these days including many property management functions.
