Ideally a low maintenance property as at this point in my life (two wonderful young girls, a day job, and an active composer/arranger of music) I don't have a lot of time but I do set aside focused time to build my real estate portfolio.

He bought it in the Winter and by the time the warm weather rolled in, lots of drug dealing which was happening inside those residences, came outside to enjoy the weather.Eventually, people pulled up with SUVs with loud speakers playing all kinds of unsavory music, drug dealing was done constantly in the open.

But there is also creativity, cool programing, businesses moving in, a music festival that attracted 14k+ people to one block in one day last summer, etc etc etc. 

We have a musical family and a music room was done that way to keep momma happy.

I see it all the time in my other profession, music.

I get that appreciation makes way more wealth than cash flow, but what happens when the music stops and appreciation stops or even reverses?

Of course you can rent it to store music equipment for a band or extra ultra rare art pieces.
