But one of the best resources I've found is just reading, and listening to, as many books on the subject as I could find to really help deepen my knowledge and expertise.I actually just started listing to audio books over the last year or so and found a great app called Libby, that you can download for free through the Cleveland Public Library system and there's tons of great audiobooks on real estate and investing that I listen to when I'm driving and has helped me a lot!

Compared to the US, the financing is different (if you need any), the legal system is different (you need to vet the parties), pre-construction works differently (if that's what you want to buy), the buyer/seller psychology is different, ...It's important that you get the needed knowledge or work with people who have it and have their interests aligned with yours.I have replied to hundreds of posts about investing in Mexico over the years so you might find some what you look for there.

Sure terms matter, but I would imagine if you took a poll of bankable borrowers and asked why they work with particular alternative lenders they will all say the lender is knowledgeable which leads to practical underwriting and practical loan administration.
