When the data is pushing historical extremes, I tend to take note.As we have talked about in the past my biggest concern for the bay area and other Tech areas is that if Tech stocks have a correction, the real estate market could change virtually in an instant, as opposed to the long dragged out market cycle that real estate investors usually have to work with.Who knows what will happen.

@Ben Leybovich tongue in cheek not sure what losing your house in Lima Ohio is some super security for the lender LOL... its not like your pledging your Lido Island mansion or Malibu beach pad.and I suspect you have your personal assets protected.. if your borrowing money like this you want to have some amount of protection.. because 30% equity in a down market can evaporate in an instant as we all saw... but hey that's risk and RE. for sure.. but by the time a creditor came after you personally means all your investors have been wiped out. !
