I remember guys running that scam in the late 70's.

Even though those of the golden rule should remember they are paid by the buyer who only wants a deal that is not scam right out the gate and then the homebuyer is blamed as not responsible, buying that which is not affordable.

Another scamming indicator are those who offer SF with inflated sales prices as if financing it makes the deal more valuable.

At the real estate classes we are constantly told to stay away from real estate investors and their illegal scams.

No one is going to fake it and lose a license, get fined or get nailed in some fraudulent scam, IMO. :)

If I am calling from the other side of the country, I wonder how many sellers will not want to do business with me because I am not local, or because they want a face to face interaction, or think that I might be a scam?
