In the meantime, my personal home sits on 24 acres of woods and has a barn, although it is just outside the nearby village.

Montgomery Village should take you 3 to 4 weeks to get a renter typically depending on price point.

That is a good point...I wonder if long term the area will see an upturn due to the higher class neighborhoods around it (East Indian Village and the Pointes).

@Nicholas MillerI think the key thing is to check with your local village / county if they have specific requirements for rentals. 2nd thing is to check with your HOA, and the last thing is your insurance company.Some suburbs here in chicago area has some requirements on a rental which a landlord will never be able to fit so many people in a small living space.

I would double check the tax estimate, that seems a it low.This area is called Parkway Village and I have found that the renters really like to have at least 2 full bathrooms. 

This building is in an area called Schumacher place, nearby German Village and downtown Columbus.

It is Required in almost every town village and city in the Western New York area.
