It's clear that the inspector and you have established a very good rapport.The inspector then tells you that you did not comply with the local repair rules and you need to redo all the repairs.When you ask why he didn't disclose the local repair rules earlier when you first spoke with him, he again brings up how good your family, spouse, kids, dog and friends are.You are required to redo all the repairs and associated expenses because the inspector did not disclose these issues up front.

Typical basic trouble shooting is to inspect all connections, look for loose connections and oxidization, any warm receptacle plates or light switches, smells of melting wire or plastic, signs of burning/arcing/overheating such as blackened areas around receptacle boxes or anywhere there’s a connection, or flickering lights not associated with the bulb not being screwed in tightly.

The rate and the points associated any given rate down are not a direct correlation.For starters, as others have mentioned: point = %. 1 point = 1% 2 points = 2% 3 points = 3% and so on.
