What economic indicators led you to decide to come to Columbus?

A lot of vacant properties can indicate a declining area.

@Ryan SladeYou indicate OOS is less money to get in but I suspect that is not true due to financing options for owner occupied versus non-owner occupied.  

It is to indicate I'm serious and am willing to do what it takes to be able to provide.

Also, high prices are often an indicator of how attractive a market is.

I have explored the concept with my lender of the $10,000 being disbursed to an escrow account at closing for post-closing repairs but they have indicated that this will lead to the Lender needing to do further diligence on the repairs, perform inspections, etc. all of which will kill the deal for me, because I need to close in the next week.

Our landlord has indicated that he is looking to list the duplex we have been renting for 2 years +. 

The fact they are complaining online might be an indication the property manager dealt with them properly so be sure to ask the manager for their side of the story.I hope this basic guide helps.
