And more importantly,  I get to spend time with my wife after a long work week in our hectic 9-5 jobs.

I'm thinking about "the 4 hour work week" as well. 

Frustration leads me to reading: 4 Hr Workweek, GTD Method, J Scotts books on flipping and estimating and FLIP and HOLD and the One Thing.What's my big hairy audacious goal for 2016? 

I'm looking at houses via FaceTime while my wife shows me properties, signing offers on my phone and still working 84 hour work weeks, driving across provinces  and playing landlord and contractor on the coast when I am not on shift. 

Make money make your fortune rather than trying to earn it doing a 40 hour work week. 

I feel as if the 40 hour work week is a thing in the past.

I'm prepared and even a bit excited for 90 hour workweeks so it seems real estate may be the place for me.The plan:So far, I've been listening to the podcast, reading some of the books recommended, and looking around the forums.

Over the last 3 months, I am proud to say that I have made respectable progress in terms of laying a solid foundation for my REI career outside of my long work weeks.

Currently on Die Broke, with Think and Grow Rich, Four Hour Work Week, How I turned $1,000 into a Million,  and The Millionaire Real Estate Agent being shipped to my home.With the bit of rental experience and the vast knowledge I acquired through these resources, I am not only confident but I'm ready to get this done!
