I recommend you make a video of you entering the unit and documenting exactly how it is found.

My cleaners take a video after every turn, my team goes in to check everything is good after cleaning and record salt and PH level logs and I have a licensed plumber who is in charge of maintaining plumbing, water heater, and boiler system with logs.

I kept find info about it being a scam and another thing that throw me off is on one of their videos there was this guy that I seen before on another Real Estate commercial.

I think they contain solid information and will help lay a good foundation as a beginner (Haha, I'm completely new to real estate as well, btw)I'm also going to be reading the following books, and hopefully I can finish all by the end of this month:1) The ABCs of Property Management2) The Advanced Guide to Real Estate Investing3) Long-Distance Real Estate Investing How to Buy, Rehab, and Manage Out-of-State Rental Properties (this might be the most important one to me personally)4) The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No (and Low) Money DownIn addition to reading, I'm consuming crazy amounts of youtube videos, and I'recommend you do this as well.

With pictures and video that can be sent on progress, many of the investors I work with never visit the property. 

I would suggest that once you are done reading that book - give it about a week and read it again. 

Additionally, they should be helping with taking video walkthroughs of the location and the property, estimating renovations/scope of work, helping you learn neighborhoods, building your real estate team, etc.

I was dizzy and off-balance for weeks following.
