Make a referral to a contractor you know, or volunteer to stuff envelopes or answer the phone.

Volunteer to help a busy top agent.

I volunteered to help friends, family and neighbors with their repairs. 

You work with those people and the teaching industry, even people like volunteer ushers in Catholic churches, the Commonwealth's already done much of the clearance work for you.

While Hawaii didn't work out, i've since lost 90lbs, converted to Catholicism, found somewhat enjoyable full time employment that lets me put in a generous amount of overtime (Last week I worked 65 hours and on average 55+ hours a week, I haven't had a day off in months), started to tackle overwhelming student loan debt, volunteer, well...you get the idea. 

Can we get someone to volunteer with an Opportunity Fund, then let them provide the rest of us with a play-by-play? 

Wisconsin area stating that last year they started a rent promotion program where if tenants have a certain amount of volunteer hours logged with a list of pre-approved organizations in the city where the rental units are, that they got a 10% reduction in rent. 

It's sympathetic without volunteering for anything specific.
