I have other retirement vessels, so that's not an issue.

You’re simply transferring the interest from one vessel to the other.

Be fair and do what is right(legally) and do not be afraid of empty vessels makes most noise!

If the only thing you could do was change the vanity out to the vessel style, that's what I'd do. 

HBs are specifically built for rental companies, I doubt you could buy a consumer boat used and put it in service cheaper than buying new and be compliant or economical for a merchant vessel.
